Gusau, Zamfara State – August 28, 2024 – The Zamfara State Police Command strongly condemns the unprovoked military attack on Superintendent of Police Halliru Liman, Divisional Police Officer of Wusagu Division, and Kebbi State Police Command.
POLICE OFFICER BRUTALLY MURDERED BY MILITARY PERSONNEL
SP Liman was shot in the head and killed by military personnel led by one Hassan, attached to OPHD Sector 6, Dan Marke area of Bukkuyum, Zamfara State, while on his way to attend a monthly conference in Birnin Kebbi.
POLICE DEMAND THOROUGH INVESTIGATION AND JUSTICE
The Zamfara State Police Command demands a thorough investigation into this heinous crime and urges the relevant authorities to take immediate action to address this egregious incident and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
