BREAKING: FIRE BREAKS OUT AT KATSINA GOVERNMENT HOUSE
Katsina, Nigeria – A fire broke out at the Katsina Government House on Monday, September 2, 2024. The blaze occurred in the red chamber, an annex to the governor’s office.
While the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation, firefighters were able to contain the flames before they spread to other parts of the building. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda was not present at the government house at the time of the incident. He was attending a town hall meeting in the nearby town of Funtua.
