YAR’ADUA’S MOTHER PASSES AWAY AT 102
Katsina, Nigeria – Hajia Dada Yar’adua, the mother of late Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina. She was 102 years old.
Hajia Dada was also the mother of late Shehu Musa Yar’adua, a prominent Nigerian politician, and Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua, the current Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army.
The family has announced that burial arrangements for Hajia Dada will be shared at a later date.
Umaru Musa Yar’adua served as the President of Nigeria from 2007 until his death in May 2010. Prior to his presidency, he served as the Governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007.
