APC to Contest in Kano Local Government Elections: Nomination Forms Available Soon

Kano State, Nigeria – September 12, 2024 – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has officially announced its intention to compete in the upcoming local government elections.
The party will be vying for positions including local government chairmen and councilors across the state.
In a statement issued today, Thursday, Honorable Ahmad S. Aruwa, APC’s Publicity Secretary, confirmed the party’s readiness to participate in the electoral process. Under the leadership of Honorable Abdullahi Abbas, APC’s Kano State Chairman, the party has also outlined the schedule for the sale of nomination forms.
Nomination forms will be available for purchase from today, September 12, through Saturday, September 14, 2024. Prospective candidates can obtain the forms at APC’s local government offices between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the specified dates.
This move marks a significant step for APC as it seeks to strengthen its presence in local governance and advance its political agenda in Kano State. The party’s participation in the local government elections is anticipated to influence the political landscape and set the stage for competitive campaigns.
