Nigeria for Peace Project Mourns Borno Flood Victims

Kano, Nigeria – The Nigeria for Peace Project (N4P), a leading civil society organization, has expressed deep sorrow over the devastating floods that have ravaged Borno State. The floods have resulted in significant loss of lives, displacement of families, and widespread damage to property.
In a statement released today, N4P Convener Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya and Co-Convener Chief Mulade Sheriff conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Borno State. They emphasized that the organization stands in solidarity with the affected communities during this difficult time.
“Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones and suffered injuries,” the statement read. “We pray for their strength and resilience as they navigate this challenging period.”
N4P urged the federal and state governments to declare the Borno flooding incident a national emergency. The organization called on all relevant agencies and stakeholders to provide immediate assistance to the flood victims, including food, shelter, and medical care.
The N4P also appealed to individuals, philanthropists, and organizations to contribute to relief efforts and support the affected communities.
