Governor Namadi Extends Warm Greetings to Muslim Ummah on Maulud

Jigawa, Nigeria – Governor Mallam Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Maulud, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). In a press release issued on Sunday, September 15, 2024, the governor highlighted the significance of the Prophet’s teachings and urged Muslims to emulate his virtues.
“The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is a shining example for all who believe in Allah and the Day of Judgment,” Governor Namadi stated, quoting the Quranic verse, “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.”
The governor emphasized the importance of unity, mutual respect, and brotherhood among Muslims, drawing inspiration from the Prophet’s life and teachings. He called on the citizens to strive for peace, progress, and prosperity in Jigawa State and beyond.
“Let us reaffirm our commitment to the timeless principles of selfless service, humility, and devotion to Allah,” Governor Namadi urged. “May Allah accept our prayers and guide us in our efforts to uphold the teachings of our beloved Prophet.”
As the Muslim Ummah celebrates Maulud, Governor Namadi also expressed his concern for the economic challenges facing the country and the world. He called on citizens to continue praying for relief from these hardships.
