Breaking News: Jigawa Tanker Explosion Death Toll Surges to 153

Dutse, Nigeria – The tragic tanker explosion that occurred in Majia town, Taura local government area of Jigawa State, on October 15, 2024, has claimed an additional 33 lives, bringing the total death toll to 153.
According to the Jigawa State Police Command’s Public Relations Department, 100 injured victims are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals across the state, including Aminu Kano, Jahun, Nguru, Hadejia, and Gumel.
As the community continues to grapple with this devastating loss, authorities are working tirelessly to provide necessary support to the affected families and ensure that the injured receive the best possible care.
