Adam AVM Mukhtar Mohammed Mourns Majia Town Tragedy

Abuja, Nigeria – In a statement released today, Adam AVM Mukhtar Mohammed, the Chairman of the Abuja FCT Football Association, expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic tanker explosion that occurred in Majia Town, Taura Local Government Area, Jigawa State.
The incident, which claimed the lives of over 150 people and injured countless others, has left the entire nation in shock and grief. Mohammed offered his heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families, the community, and the Jigawa State Government under the leadership of Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA.
“May the departed souls find eternal peace in Aljanna Firdausi,” Mohammed prayed. “I pray that Allah grants their families and loved ones the strength to bear this immense loss. For those still recovering in hospitals, I wish for a swift and complete recovery.
“The Chairman commended Governor Namadi for his unwavering support to the victims of the disaster and expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCON for his prompt response and concern. He also acknowledged the invaluable assistance provided by the federal government delegation led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Hon. Minister of Defence.
Mohammed urged all relevant authorities to take necessary measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future. “Let us continue to offer our support and solidarity to the victims and their families during this difficult time,” he said. “May Allah grant us all the strength and resilience to overcome this adversity.
“As a dedicated servant of the people, Mohammed reiterated his commitment to their well-being and called for unity and compassion in the face of this tragedy.
