Defence Minister Commends Troops for Success in Kaduna Security

Abuja, Nigeria – October 20, 2024: The Honorable Minister of Defense, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has praised the Nigerian military for their significant achievements in securing Kaduna State, particularly the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road.
During a two-day operational visit to Kaduna, the Minister inspected various military formations and commended the troops for their resilience and hard work. He noted a significant decline in kidnappings and ambushes in Birnin Gwari over the past six months, attributing this success to the troops’ efforts.
Minister Abubakar emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region and urged the troops to continue their fight against insurgency and banditry. He expressed his gratitude for their dedication and sacrifices, which are crucial to Nigeria’s development.
The Minister’s visit served to boost the morale of the troops and assess the operational capacity and coordination of military units in the region. He assured the troops of the government’s unwavering support in their mission.
