NASSI Mourns Majia Fire Victims, Commend Jigawa Gov’t Response

Dutse, Jigawa State (October 23, 2024) – The Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI) Jigawa State chapter has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic petrol tanker explosion in Majia Town, Taura Local Government Area, which claimed the lives of 140 people and injured 70 others.
In a condolence message signed by Comrade Danlami Haladu Shuaibu, the state’s NASSI Secretary, the association conveyed its sympathies to Governor Umar Namadi, the people of Jigawa State, and the bereaved families.
NASSI commended Governor Namadi’s prompt response to the disaster, including the allocation of resources for the victims’ families. The association praised the governor’s leadership and commitment to providing relief and support during this difficult time.
As the state grapples with the devastating consequences of the fire incident, NASSI offered its condolences and prayers for the victims and their families.
