First Batch of Majiya Tanker Explosion Victims Discharged from Hospitals in Jigawa and Kano

In a heartening update, the first group of victims from the tragic Majiya tanker explosion has been discharged from Rashid Shakoni Teaching Hospital in Dutse, the capital of Jigawa state, and Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano. Dr. Haruna Mairiga, Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), shared the news with public eye news correspondent in Majia town earlier this afternoon.
Dr. Mairiga reported that three individuals have now been cleared for discharge and are on the path to recovery. However, many others continue to receive treatment at various medical facilities across Yobe, Kano, and Jigawa states.
“May Allah (SWA) grant them full recovery and protect our communities from further calamities,” Mairiga expressed in his post.
