Wife of Defence Minister Offers Heartfelt Condolences to Late Army Chief’s Family

In a compassionate show of support, Hajiya Magajiya Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, the wife of Nigeria’s Defence Minister, extended her condolences to Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, widow of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja. The condolence visit took place today at the Niger Army Barracks in Asokoro, Abuja, where Hajiya Magajiya expressed her sympathy to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased officer.
“I received the news with a heavy heart,” Hajiya Magajiya shared. “Lt. General Lagbaja dedicated his life to defending our nation. May Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest and give his family the courage to bear this great loss.”
The late Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja was widely respected for his dedication to national service, and his legacy remains deeply valued by the Nigerian Army and the nation.
