Borno Youths Commend Defense Minister for Security Gains

The Borno Youth for Sustainable Development has lauded the efforts of Nigeria’s Defense Minister, Alhaji Mohammadu Badaru Abubakar, in bolstering security in the North-East region and nationwide.
In a statement released on Saturday, the group’s Chairman, Salisu Usman Alhaji, expressed gratitude for the minister’s dedication to improving security conditions.
The youth group noted that since assuming office on August 22, 2023, Minister Abubakar has prioritized cooperation among security agencies to address security challenges effectively.
“We commend the minister’s tireless efforts in promoting peace and stability, especially in the North-East region. His commitment to the welfare of our troops is commendable,” the statement read.
The group also expressed concern over attempts to undermine the minister’s achievements, emphasizing his significant contributions to enhancing inter-agency collaboration and eradicating corruption within the defense sector.
The Borno Youth for Sustainable Development pledged its support to the minister in his mission to ensure the security and peaceful coexistence of Nigerians.
