NIGERIAN MILITARY NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT FOR PEACE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH – DEFENCE MINISTER

Kano, Nigeria (November 23, 2024) The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to support the Nigerian Military’s efforts to combat insecurity and ensure peace, emphasizing its crucial role in driving economic growth.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 45th International Trade Fair organized by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KACCIMA), Minister Badaru highlighted the direct correlation between security and economic prosperity. He reiterated President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to restoring peace and stability across the nation.

The Minister, a former National President and now Lifetime National Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), emphasized the importance of a peaceful environment for businesses to thrive. He urged Nigerians to maintain trust in the security forces and continue supporting them with prayers.
The 45th International Trade Fair, attended by dignitaries including representatives from the Office of the Vice President and the Governor of Kano State, aims to foster economic cooperation and investment. It serves as a platform to showcase Nigeria’s diverse products and attract foreign investment, particularly in non-oil sectors.
Minister Badaru commended KACCIMA for organizing the event and highlighted the significance of non-oil exports in diversifying Nigeria’s economy. He encouraged stakeholders to collaborate and harness the country’s vast export potential.
As a key economic hub in Nigeria, Kano’s trade fair plays a vital role in driving economic growth, innovation, and international business connections.
