CHERISH SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY MATRICULATES 250 NEW STUDENTS

Katsina, Nigeria – The Cherish School of Nursing and Midwery has matriculated 250 new students, marking the beginning of their academic journey in the healthcare profession. The matriculation ceremony took place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the school’s premises in GRA Katsina.
In his address, the Provost of the School, Dr. Abubakar Halliru, emphasized the importance of adhering to the school’s rules and regulations. He also highlighted the school’s reputation as the first private health institution in Northern Nigeria.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Ambassador Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske, who represented Governor Dikko Umar. Ambassador Nagaske congratulated the students and urged them to focus on their studies.
Other notable attendees included the Chairman of the Katsina State Scholarship Board, Dr. Aminu Tsauri, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Student Matters, Dr. Babangida Ruma.
The matriculation ceremony marked an important milestone for the students, who are embarking on a journey to become healthcare professionals.
