Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Abubakar Offers Heartfelt Condolences to Jigawa State Governor

In a statement released by the Ministry of Defence, Abuja, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, the Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, extended his deepest condolences to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar A. Namadi, following the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar.
The Minister described the news of Hajiya Maryam’s demise as “heartbreaking” and a “great tragedy,” praying for the repose of her soul and seeking Almighty Allah’s comfort for the grieving family. This gesture demonstrates the Minister’s commitment to showing empathy and support during difficult times.
Governor Mallam Umar A. Namadi is currently abroad on an official assignment in China. The Defence Minister’s condolence message is a testament to the strong bond between the federal government and state governments in times of need.
