Car Accident Claims Life of Jigawa Governor’s Son, Days After Mother’s Demise.

In a devastating turn of events, Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi, has announced the passing of his beloved son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi. The 24-year-old final-year student of Agriculture at the Federal University Dutse, died in a ghastly motor accident along the Dutse-Kafin-Hausa Road on Thursday, December 26th, 2024.
This heartbreaking incident comes just a day after the governor lost his mother, making it a double tragedy for the Namadi family. The burial rites for Abdulwahab took place in Kafin Hausa town, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
Governor Namadi’s family is now grappling with the loss of two loved ones within a span of 24 hours. The people of Jigawa State and Nigerians across the country are offering their condolences to the grieving family.
This tragic incident highlights the alarming rate of road accidents in Nigeria, which have claimed numerous lives, including a recent accident that killed 14 people in Jigawa State.
