Buhari Consoles Jigawa Governor Over Heartbreaking Loss

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has reached out to Umar Namadi, the Governor of Jigawa State, to offer his condolences over the devastating loss of his mother and son within a span of 20 hours. Buhari described the deaths as “painful and terrifying,” but urged the governor to accept them as the will of Allah.
In a heartfelt telephone call, Buhari acknowledged that the double tragedy would touch the hearts of anyone who believes in humanity. He encouraged the bereaved governor to draw strength from his faith and rededicate his life to serving his people.
“I convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of your family, friends, admirers, the government, and the entire people of Jigawa State,” Buhari said, as quoted by his media aide, Garba Shehu.
Buhari’s condolence message comes as a gesture of support and solidarity with the governor and the people of Jigawa State during this difficult time.
