Federal and Borno State Governments Strengthen Ties in Digital Communication

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Media and Emergency Management, Arc. Ishaq Ahmed Ningi, recently visited Borno State to congratulate Abdulrahman Ahmed Bundi on his appointment as Senior Technical Assistant on Print and Digital Communications to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

The visit underscored the growing collaboration between the federal and state governments in utilizing digital media for effective governance and public service delivery.
During the visit, Mr. Ningi commended Governor Zulum’s leadership and the state government’s dedication to public service. He highlighted the importance of leveraging digital platforms to address the challenges facing Borno State, including insecurity, flooding, and humanitarian crises.

“Borno State has always been a leader in intergovernmental cooperation,” stated Mr. Ningi. “We must embrace digital technology to bridge gaps, empower citizens, and enhance transparency in governance.”
The visit also paid tribute to the late Malam Isa Gusau, former spokesperson for Borno State Government, whose contributions to public communication were widely recognized.
Mr. Bundi expressed his gratitude for Mr. Ningi’s support and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the state government’s communication strategies.
The visit concluded with a renewed pledge of partnership and collaboration between the federal and Borno State governments to address the challenges facing the region.
