Defence Minister Chairs Closing Ceremony of National Ramadan Tafsir Seminar

Abuja, Nigeria – The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, presided over the closing ceremony of this year’s National Annual Seminar on Ramadan Tafsir, organized by the National Headquarters of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS). The event took place on Friday, February 21, 2023, at the JIBWIS Secretariat in Abuja.
In his role as Chairman of the Occasion, the Defence Minister emphasized the importance of religious enlightenment and unity in fostering national development.
The closing ceremony was graced by eminent Islamic scholars, including JIBWIS National Chairman, Sheikh Dr. Abdullahi Bala Lau, and former Minister, Sheikh Isa Ali Pantami, among other distinguished guests.
The seminar served as a platform for deep spiritual reflection, reinforcing the significance of Ramadan Tafsir in promoting religious teachings, peace, and societal progress.
