In a significant move to expand educational opportunities across Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has granted provisional licenses to 11 new private universities.

This development demonstrates the President’s commitment to advancing education and infrastructure development in the country.

The Newly Approved Universities:

New City University, Ayetoro, Ogun State.

University of Fortune, Igbotako, Ondo State.

Eranova University, Mabushi, Abuja.

Minaret University, Ikirun, Osun State.

Abubakar Toyin University, Oke-Agba, Kwara State.

Southern Atlantic University, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Lens University, Ilemona, Kwara State.

Monarch University, Iyesi-Ota, Ogun State.

Tonnie Iredia University of Communication, Benin City, Edo State.

Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management, Lagos State.

Kevin Eze University, Mgbowo, Enugu State.

These institutions have successfully completed the rigorous 13-step assessment process of the National Universities Commission, meeting the necessary requirements to commence operations.

The approval of these new universities is expected to increase access to quality education in Nigeria, aligning with President Tinubu’s vision for educational advancement and infrastructure development.
