Governor Uba Sani Launches Groundbreaking Road Project in Zaria

In a significant move to boost infrastructure development in Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction and upgrading of Zaria Township Roads. This project aims to improve connectivity and enhance the quality of life for residents in Zaria City and surrounding communities.

Key Project Details
- Road Network: The project involves reconstructing and upgrading roads from Magajiya Junction to Kasuwan Amaru, with a link to Unguwan Liman/Albarkawa Road Intersection and Audi to Kako Roads.
- Benefits: The project will create job opportunities, improve commercial activities, and enhance security in the city and its surroundings.
- Impact: The reconstructed roads will serve a significant population of Zaria City, predominantly the urban poor.
Governor Uba Sani’s Commitment to Infrastructure Development

Since assuming office in 2023, Governor Uba Sani’s administration has initiated over 78 road projects across Kaduna State, totaling about 775km. The governor has emphasized his commitment to massive infrastructure upgrades in rural and urban areas, supporting communities in achieving rapid economic growth and improving the quality of life.
Rural Transformation Programme
The Kaduna State government is also ramping up the implementation of its Rural Transformation Programme, accelerating the execution of projects in critical sectors like education, health, and agriculture. Governor Uba Sani has reiterated his determination to leave Kaduna State better than he met it.
