Kano Hisba Commission Cracks Down on Brothels

In a bold move to enforce Islamic values, the Kano State Hisba Board has sealed off brothels across the state. Sheikh Mujahiddin Aminuddin, Acting Commander-General of the Hisba Board, confirmed the action, citing the provisions of the Kano State law as the basis for the crackdown.

Aminuddin expressed disappointment with some Muslims who frequent such establishments, despite the approaching Ramadan fast. This move is part of the Hisba Board’s mission to promote Islamic values and maintain social harmony in Kano State.

The Kano State Hisbah Board is tasked with enforcing Sharia law and promoting moral integrity within the Muslim community. Their efforts include combating crime, resolving conflicts, and providing education and guidance on Islamic principles.

This development highlights the Hisba Board’s commitment to upholding Islamic values and promoting a virtuous society in Kano State.
