Governor Namadi Lauds Dutse LG Chairman for Empowerment Program

In a heartwarming display of community support, the Chairman of Dutse Local Government, Hon. Sibu, launched a donation program to distribute food and crafts to those in need. The event, which took place on Wednesday at the Secretary’s office in Dutse, was graced by the presence of Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA.

Governor Namadi commended the Chairman’s initiative, emphasizing its alignment with the state government’s goals to provide comfort to the people of Jigawa State. The program’s impact is expected to be significant, with beneficiaries receiving essential items such as food and business equipment.

- Food Stuff:
- 100 bags of corn distributed to 100 individuals
- 100 bags of groceries distributed to 100 individuals
- 200 bags of rice distributed to 200 individuals
- Business Equipment Support:
- 30 sewing machines distributed to 30 individuals
- 15 faciary machines distributed to 15 individuals
- N50,000 cash prize awarded to 200 individuals
- 15 malkade machines distributed to 15 individuals
- Toolkits for pump repair distributed to 15 young people undergoing training
The Governor urged beneficiaries to utilize the donations wisely, benefiting not only themselves but also their families and the community at large. He also expressed gratitude to the public for their support, stating that it motivates him to continue working towards the betterment of Jigawa State.
