Kano Governor Donates Land to North-West Development Commission

In a significant move to promote regional development, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has donated land for the permanent site of the North-West Development Commission. This gesture underscores the governor’s commitment to advancing infrastructure and socio-economic growth in the North-West region.
The North-West Development Commission aims to address the challenges facing the seven states in the region, including Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara. With a budget of over N500 billion, the commission is poised to drive growth and development in the region.

- Infrastructure Development: Rebuilding roads, medical, educational, social, agricultural, and other infrastructure destroyed by insecurity and environmental challenges.
