Governor Abba Mourns Passing of Senior Aide Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced the passing of Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci, his Senior Special Assistant on Radio. Galadanci died on March 26, 2025, after a brief illness at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
Governor Yusuf expressed profound sorrow over the loss, describing Galadanci as a dedicated and invaluable member of his administration. “The demise of Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci is a great loss to our administration and the entire Kano State,” Yusuf said. “His commitment and passion for enhancing our communication channels will be deeply missed.”
Galadanci was one of the 57 Senior Special Assistants appointed by Governor Yusuf in a bid to strengthen his administration’s communication channels ¹.
The burial rites for the late Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci are scheduled to take place today at 5:30 PM at the Filin Galadanchi Mosque, near the residence of Galadiman Kano.
The Kano State Government has extended its heartfelt condolences to Galadanci’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
