Jos, Plateau State – April 6, 2025 – In a move signaling the Federal Government’s heightened response to the recent wave of violence, National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, arrived in Plateau State today. His mission: to personally assess the security situation and reassure communities reeling from devastating militia attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area. Ribadu’s visit underscores a commitment to restoring peace and delivering justice, as he addressed officers at Headquarters Operation SAFE HAVEN.

Driven by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s direct mandate, Ribadu’s presence aimed to reinforce security efforts and bring a sense of stability to the ravaged region. He acknowledged the swift response of security agencies in containing the immediate violence, offering a measure of relief to residents.

“The recent security breaches have deeply troubled the Federal Government,” Ribadu stated, his voice resonating with resolve. “We are here to ensure that those responsible are held accountable and that lasting peace is rebuilt within these communities.”
