The innovative program equipped 50 young Nigerians with cutting-edge skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), IT Essentials, and Data Science, setting them up for success in the global digital economy.
Representing NITDA’s Director General at the closing ceremony, Mrs. Chioma Okee-Agugwo, Head of the South West Zonal Office, stressed the importance of digital literacy in enhancing youth employability and driving national growth. “A digitally empowered nation is crucial for competing globally,” she emphasized, highlighting the agency’s commitment to youth empowerment and digital skills development.
This initiative aligns perfectly with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to accelerate diversification through industrialization, digitization, creative arts, manufacturing, and innovation.
