In a bid to fortify the party’s internal structure and governance agenda, the All Progressives Congress (APC) witnessed a crucial meeting between governors, ministers, and members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on May 14, 2025, at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.

According to Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), who addressed the press after the meeting, the engagement was both productive and timely. “We are working to ensure synergy between the leadership of our great party and our elected officials as well as appointees at the federal level to deliver effectively on the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Uzodinma stated.

This high-level meeting comes at a critical time for the APC, as the party prepares for the off-cycle elections and navigates recent developments in the country’s political landscape. The meeting’s outcome is expected to have a significant impact on the party’s internal dynamics and its ability to deliver on its governance agenda.

The APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda, spearheaded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aims to drive economic growth, improve security, and enhance the overall quality of life for Nigerians. The party’s ability to deliver on this agenda will be crucial in determining its performance in the upcoming elections and its long-term viability as a ruling party.

As the APC moves forward, it will be interesting to see how the party’s stakeholders work together to achieve their goals. The success of the Renewed Hope Agenda will depend on the party’s ability to maintain internal cohesion, enhance coordination, and deliver effective governance. With the off-cycle elections on the horizon, the APC’s strategy and performance will be under intense scrutiny.
