NITDA Set to Revolutionize Nigeria’s Cybersecurity Landscape with 2025 Conference

In a press conference held today, Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), shed light on the upcoming National Cybersecurity Conference 2025, themed around building a safer digital future. The conference promises to be a game-changer, tackling pressing issues through workshops, expert discussions on emerging threats, and cross-border cybersecurity collaboration strategies.
One of the highlights of the conference is the prestigious Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, which aims to recognize and honor outstanding contributions in the field. This initiative underscores NITDA’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in cybersecurity.
The DG extended a warm invitation to global partners to join forces with Nigeria in shaping a more secure digital landscape. “We believe that collaboration is key to addressing the complex cybersecurity challenges we face today,” he emphasized.
Notable figures in attendance included Ahmad Sa’ad Abubakar, National Coordinator of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCCC); Hanniel Jafar, Representative of the President of the Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN); and Ankit Shukla, Managing Director of QNA Marketing Management LLC. Members of the press and other stakeholders also graced the occasion.
The National Cybersecurity Conference 2025 will feature workshops, discussions, and training programs on emerging threats and cross-border collaboration strategies.
