Breaking: Minister Badaru Leads FG Delegation for Late Aminu Dantata’s Funeral in Saudi Arabia

A high-powered delegation from the Federal Government of Nigeria has landed in Saudi Arabia to receive the remains of the late business mogul and elder statesman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata. The delegation arrived in the Islamic holy city of Madinah in the early hours of Monday, ahead of the funeral scheduled to take place later in the day.
Who’s Who in the Delegation
Led by Minister of Defence and former Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, the delegation comprises notable government officials and Islamic clerics. Other members include:
- Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN
- Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris
- Minister of State for Housing Development, Honourable Yusuf Abdullahi Ata
- Prominent Islamic clerics, Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, and Khalifa Abdullahi Muhammad, Imam of Dantata Mosque, Abuja
The delegation is also accompanied by members of the Nigerian Consulate General in Jeddah, led by Ambassador Muazzam Ibrahim Nayaya, who has been coordinating arrangements for the funeral.
