DUTSE, JIGAWA -The leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Jigawa State, Hon. Muhammad Gudaji Kazaure, has issued a strong warning to incoming coalition members against sidelining long-standing members of the party.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Hon. Kazaure expressed concern over what he described as a growing trend of exclusion and selfishness among some new entrants into the party. He emphasized that the ADC is a party for all, and no individual or group should attempt to dominate or undermine existing party structures.
“We welcome everyone joining the ADC, including members from the Sule Lamido camp, the Sabo Na Kudu group, and other interested stakeholders,” the statement read. “However, it is unacceptable for any group to carry out political activities without the knowledge and involvement of the party’s leadership and original members.”
Kazaure, a vocal political figure and former federal lawmaker, warned that any attempt to marginalize foundational members of the party would be strongly resisted.
“We will not sit idly by and allow the party to be hijacked or destroyed by selfish interests,” he declared. “Anyone found sidelining committed party members will be challenged.”
The statement comes as the ADC in Jigawa State continues its efforts to broaden its support base through strategic coalitions and realignments ahead of future elections.
Kazaure called on all members to uphold internal democracy, inclusivity, and unity in order to strengthen the party’s position in the state and nationally.
