Breaking News: Kano Police Command Confirms Death of DPO, 1 Other in Rano LGA Incident

In a shocking turn of events, the Kano State Police Command has confirmed the death of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and another individual following a violent incident in Rano Local Government Area on May 25, 2025.
According to eyewitnesses, the trouble began when a motorcycle mechanic, Abdullahi Musa, was arrested and detained for reckless riding. However, things took a deadly turn when Musa died while in police custody, allegedly due to complications from substance abuse.
