Breaking News: New NSCDC Commander Visits SSG Seeks Government’s Support in Security Push

In a bid to strengthen security ties, the newly appointed Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State, Commander Bala Bawa Bodinga, paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, on Tuesday.

During their meeting, Commander Bodinga sought the government’s backing in his quest to enhance security in the state. He lauded Jigawa as one of Nigeria’s most peaceful states and pledged to work closely with the government to ensure residents’ safety.

“We are committed to maintaining the peace and security that Jigawa State is known for,” Commander Bodinga said. “To achieve this, we need the support and cooperation of the government, and we are confident that together, we can achieve great things.”
Malam Bala Ibrahim, representing the Jigawa State Government, assured Commander Bodinga of full support, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in maintaining peace in the state.

“The state government is committed to working with the NSCDC to ensure the safety and security of our residents,” Malam Ibrahim said. “We will provide all necessary support to help Commander Bodinga achieve his security objectives.”
This development comes as a welcome move in the state’s efforts to bolster security measures. With Commander Bodinga’s proactive approach and the government’s support, residents can expect improved safety and security in the days ahead.
