BUJI LGA Hosts Farewell Visit for Outgoing Garrison Commander

In a heartwarming display of camaraderie and respect, the Executive Chairman of Buji Local Government Area, Arc. Najibullah Falalu, received the outgoing Garrison Commander of the 26 Armoured Brigade, Lt. Col D. Yakubu, in his office yesterday. The visit was also attended by the newly deployed Garrison Commander, Lt. Col P.J. Miri-Dashe, who was formally introduced to the community.

A Tribute to Lt. Col D. Yakubu
During the visit, Arc. Falalu expressed his deep appreciation for Lt. Col Yakubu’s service and dedication to the community. As the pioneer Garrison Commander of the Brigade, Lt. Col Yakubu served with distinction for nearly three years, earning the respect and admiration of the people.

As Lt. Col Miri-Dashe takes over as the new Garrison Commander, Arc. Falalu welcomed him warmly and expressed his eagerness to work together to build a stronger and more prosperous community.
“I look forward to a similarly fruitful relationship with the new Garrison Commander,” Arc. Falalu said. “May Allah guide and protect us as we work together to build a better future for our community.”
The visit underscores the strong commitment to collaboration and partnership between the military and civilian authorities in Buji LGA. As the community looks forward to a new chapter under Lt. Col Miri-Dashe’s leadership, there is optimism about the continued progress and development of the area.
