Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Abubakar Expresses Condolences Over Fuel Tanker Explosion

– Nigeria’s Defence Minister, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has expressed deep condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State following the devastating fuel tanker explosion that occurred in Majiya Town, Taura Local Government Area.
The explosion, which took place on Tuesday night, resulted in a tragic loss of over 90 lives and left more than 50 others critically injured. In his heartfelt message, the Minister conveyed sympathy and solidarity with the affected families, the injured, and the entire Jigawa community.
“I am profoundly saddened by this tragic incident, which claimed precious lives and inflicted suffering on many others. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Jigawa State during this moment of grief,” stated Minister Badaru. “I pray for the souls of the departed and wish the bereaved families strength to endure this heartbreaking loss. I also pray for the swift recovery of those injured.”
The Defence Minister, who hails from Jigawa State, emphasized the need for nationwide unity in the face of such tragedies and assured the state of his unwavering support.
