Defence Minister, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Visits 82 Division of Nigerian Army, Southeast Operation Udoka

In a demonstration of the Federal Government’s commitment to national security, the Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E Mohammed Badaru Abubakar CON MNI, visited the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army and Joint Task Force Southeast Operation Udoka in Enugu on Thursday, 21st November 2024.
During the visit, the Minister inspected military installations and the Nigerian Airforce Base in Emene, Enugu. He was accompanied by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division and the Force Commander Joint Task Force Southeast Operation Udoka, Major-General H.T Dada

The Honourable Minister also engaged with stakeholders, including heads of security agencies, traditional rulers, and youths in the Southeast region. This move aims to foster collaboration and strengthen security in the area.

Badaru’s visit underscores the Ministry of Defence’s dedication to supporting the Nigerian Armed Forces in their efforts to maintain peace and security across the country
