Deputy Senate President, Emir Sunusi, paid a condolence visit to Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, over the recent loss of his mother and eldest son in Kafin Hausa town. This gesture of sympathy is a testament to the strong bonds of solidarity and compassion within Nigeria’s leadership.

Governor Namadi’s mother, Hajiya Mariam, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, while his son, Abdulwahab, died in a car accident on Boxing Day, December 26. The outpouring of support and sympathy from Nigeria’s leaders is a heartening display of unity and compassion in the face of tragedy.
