EMIR OF NINGI, ALHAJI YUNUSA MUHAMMAD DANYAYA, PASSES AWAY AT 88
The Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya, has passed away at the age of 88. He died on Sunday in Kano due to age-related health issues. The late Emir was a highly respected traditional ruler in the North East Geographical Zone, known for his sense of justice, fairness, and equity. He was crowned Emir in 1978 and elevated to first-class status in 1998. During his tenure, Ningi witnessed rapid transformation into a modern town. He received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to national development. He will be buried on Sunday evening at 4 pm following a funeral prayer at the Emir’s Palace in Ningi.
