Former Gov. Shema, Sworn in as APC’s Anambra Governorship Election Committee Chairman

In a significant development, former Katsina State Governor, Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema, has been inaugurated as the Chairman of the Anambra State Governorship Election Committee by the All Progressives Congress (APC). The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the leader of the APC national party.
Following his inauguration, Barrister Shema led the committee’s first sitting, where members evaluated candidates and outlined strategies for the upcoming election. This move is seen as a strategic step by the APC to strengthen its presence in Anambra State.
As a seasoned politician, Shema brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He served as Governor of Katsina State from 2007 to 2015 and has held various positions, including Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
