Gwaram Local Government Swears in New Councilors

Gwaram Gwaram, Nigeria – A momentous occasion unfolded in Gwaram Local Government as newly elected councilors were sworn into office. Led by Executive Chairman Hon. Salim Abdulrahman Lawan, the ceremony marked a significant milestone in the local government’s governance.
In a solemn and dignified atmosphere, the newly elected councilors took their oaths of allegiance and office, administered by Magistrate Abubakar Haladu. The event commenced with an opening prayer by Malam Sama’ila Basirka, setting the stage for a meaningful ceremony.
Party Chairman Alh. Ayuba Umar and Party Elder Alh. Tukur Fagam extended their congratulations to the new councilors, urging them to dedicate themselves to the development of Gwaram Local Government. They emphasized the importance of fostering a harmonious working relationship with the executive chairman to achieve tangible results.
Hon. Salim Abdulrahman Lawan, addressing the gathering, emphasized the significance of responsible leadership and warned against illegal land acquisition in light of the impending land law enacted by Governor Namadi. He also stressed the need for contractors to adhere to high standards of quality in their work.
