KAZAURE, Jigawa State – In a gesture underscoring the vital link between traditional leadership and community welfare, Dr. Shehu Sambo, the Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (JSPHCDA), paid a significant courtesy visit to the revered Emir of Kazaure, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Najib Hussaini Adamu, CON. The visit to the Emir’s palace in Kazaure town on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, carried a dual message of hearty congratulations and a renewed commitment to public health.

Dr. Sambo, leading a prominent team of JSPHCDA directors, program managers, and unit heads, warmly congratulated the Emir on his distinguished appointment as the Jigawa State Amirul Hajj for the 2025 pilgrimage. This pivotal role, bestowed by His Excellency Governor Malam Umar Namadi, FCA, was described by Dr. Sambo as a “well-deserved recognition” of the Emir’s profound wisdom, exemplary leadership, and unwavering dedication to the service of Islam and humanity.

Beyond the Hajj felicitations, the Executive Secretary took the opportunity to express deep appreciation for the Kazaure Emirate Council’s consistent and invaluable support for public health interventions. He emphasized that the traditional institution’s backing is crucial for the success of healthcare programs at the grassroots.
