NUJ Jigawa Congratulates New Exco, Police Command Pledges Support
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Jigawa State Chapter, has successfully elected its new executive committee, and the Jigawa State Police Command has extended a warm congratulatory message to the newly elected officials.
In a statement signed by SP Lawan Shiisu Adam, ANIPR, Public Relations Department, the Command praised the peaceful and democratic conduct of the election, describing it as a testament to the professionalism and unity of the NUJ.
“We commend the election’s peaceful and democratic conduct, which exemplifies the NUJ’s professionalism and unity,” the statement read. “As partners in progress, we look forward to continued collaboration in promoting accurate information, responsible journalism, and strengthening the bond between the media and law enforcement for the peace and security of our dear state.”
