Jigawa State Declares Public Holiday for Eid-el-Maulud

Dutse, Jigawa State (September 14, 2024) – Jigawa State Government has announced a public holiday on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), Eid-el-Maulud.
The declaration was made in a statement issued by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri. “On behalf of Governor Malam Umar A Namadi, I extend warm greetings to all Muslim faithful in Jigawa State and the entire nation as we celebrate this auspicious occasion,” the HOS said.
Alhaji Dagaceri encouraged state workers to use the holiday to pray for Allah’s protection and guidance for our leaders, ensuring peace and progress in Jigawa State and the country as a whole.
