Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi, Mourns the Loss of His Beloved Mother While Abroad on Official Duty

In a somber announcement, the Office of the Governor of Jigawa State revealed that Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, the mother of Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, has passed away. The Governor, who is currently in China on an official assignment, expressed deep sorrow and submission to the will of Allah.
Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar departed this world in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25th, 2024. The burial rites took place later that day at 4:30 PM in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
The Governor and his family request prayers for the repose of her soul, seeking Allah’s infinite mercy to grant her eternal rest in Jannah and provide comfort to the family during this difficult time.
