JISEPA Inspects Ramadan Feeding Centres in Dutse, Emphasizes Food Safety and Hygiene

As part of efforts to ensure a safe and healthy Ramadan feeding program, the Managing Director of Jigawa State Environmental Protection Agency (JISEPA), Malam Adamu Saboda Babura, conducted a thorough inspection of various Ramadan feeding centres in Dutse local government area. Accompanied by his team, the vice chairman of Dutse local government, the Speaker of Dutse local government, and other officials, Adamu Saboda Babura assessed the environment and safety of the food being prepared.
Following the inspection and discussions with vendors, the JISEPA team directed the food preparers to maintain the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene, particularly during food preparation and packaging. This move aims to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure a healthy and blessed Ramadan period for the beneficiaries of the program.
The Ramadan feeding program, a flagship initiative of the Jigawa State Government, is a testament to the administration’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens. The program, which has been commendably supported by His Excellency, Governor Malam Umar A Namadi FCA, is a shining example of the government’s efforts to promote the well-being of its people.
