Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of the celebration, highlighting the tradition of wearing new clothes, witnessing the Emirs on horseback, and exchanging greetings. He assured the public that his administration will provide adequate security measures to guarantee a safe and peaceful celebration.

- Inauguration of Kano State Emirate Council: The council will be inaugurated in April this year, enabling it to function effectively.
- Emirate Council Guidelines: The council’s guidelines, ethics, and other crucial components will be communicated on the day of the inauguration.
- Emirs’ Response: The Chairman of the Kano Emirate Council, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, affirmed the cordial relationship between him and the second-class Emirs.
The Emirs of Karaye, Rano, and Gaya expressed gratitude to Governor Yusuf for the provision of fertilizer and infrastructural development in their respective domains. With the Sallah Durbar Celebration approaching, Kano State is poised to showcase its rich cultural heritage and traditions.
