Governor Abba Yusuf has given the green light to Kano State’s 2025 budget, allocating a whopping ₦719.755 billion for the “Budget of Hope, Human Capital, and Economic Development”. This ambitious budget prioritizes key sectors, earmarking ₦262.67 billion for recurrent expenditure and a significant ₦457.08 billion for capital expenditure.

The budget focuses on transforming Kano State through strategic investments in:
√Infrastructure Development: Roads, bridges, and other critical infrastructure projects will receive a significant boost.
√Education: Quality education will be prioritized, with a focus on improving schools and educational facilities.
√Healthcare: Healthcare services will be enhanced, with investments in medical facilities, equipment, and personnel.
√Poverty Reduction: Initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and promoting economic empowerment will be implemented.
√Agriculture: Agricultural development will be supported, with a focus on improving productivity and livelihoods.
