KANO STATE POLICE COMMAND HOSTS STAKEHOLDERS, PLEDGES COMMITMENT TO PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE

Kano, Nigeria – August 27, 2024 – The Kano State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo Garba, received courtesy visits from key stakeholders in the state, including the newly appointed Commissioner for Internal Security, Gen. Muhammad Inuwa Idris (rtd), KANSIEC Chairman Professor Sani Lawal Malumfashi, and PCRC Chairman Amb. Comrade Ali Hassan Tudun Bayero.
During the visits, the stakeholders expressed their commitment to collaboration and cooperation with the Police Command to ensure peaceful coexistence and security in the state.
“I’m impressed with the warm reception and the good works of the Command,” said Gen. Idris. “I look forward to sustaining and improving the relationship between the Command and the State.”
Professor Malumfashi informed the Command of the upcoming Local Government Elections slated for November 30, 2024, and sought cooperation in providing security and ensuring a peaceful electoral process.
Amb. Bayero appreciated the Command’s commitment to community policing and promised PCRC’s continued support in bridging the gap between the Police and the community.
CP Garba thanked the visitors for their remarks and pledged the Command’s continued commitment, dedication, support, encouragement, and cooperation to serving the people of Kano State.
