Katsina United Appoints Azeez as New Technical Adviser

Katsina United FC has officially appointed Azeez Mohamed Audu as the club’s new technical adviser, marking his return to the club for a second stint.
The unveiling ceremony was conducted on behalf of the Katsina State Commissioner of Sports, Aliyu Lawal Zakari Shargalle, by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, Alhaji Rabiu Muhammad Rabiu, alongside the State Sports Director, Audu Bello.
A Seasoned Coach with a Proven Track Record:
Coach Azeez Mohamed Audu, a well-respected figure in Nigerian and African football, brings a wealth of experience to the Dikko Warriors. His managerial career includes stints with Almaurada FC, Ahli Khartoum, Kwara United, Wikki Tourists, and Aziza FC of Benin Republic. Now, he returns to Katsina United with a mission to revive the club’s competitive edge.
A One-Year Deal to Restore Glory
The newly appointed coach has signed a one-year contract, committing to rejuvenating the team and elevating its status in Nigerian football. During the event, Commissioner Aliyu Lawal Zakari Shargalle urged Coach Audu to leverage his expertise and leadership to restore the club’s former glory.

In his acceptance speech, Coach Azeez Mohamed Audu expressed deep gratitude to the Katsina State Government for their trust in his capabilities. He assured fans and stakeholders of his unwavering commitment to transforming the team, stating:
“I appreciate the confidence reposed in me by the Katsina State Government. I am fully prepared to do everything humanly possible to restore the club to its rightful place in Nigerian football.”
